1’ – Kick off by Nigeria
1’ – GOOOOAAAALLLLLLL!!! Efe Ambrose (Nigeria) scores!
– It was a super effort by the Glasgow Celtic defender. Just what Nigeria needed
2’ – Already first foul against Nigeria in Liberia half, free kick to the Eagles as Ahmed Musa was fouled
3’ – But almost immediately, Liberia fight back but their own effort misses target, goal kick to Nigeria
4’ – Again Liberia come close with the Nigria back four in disarray
5’ – Throw in to Nigeria inside the Liberia half
5’ – Nigeria win the first corner. But Igiebor could not connect home and so it remains Nigeria 1, Liberia 0
6’ – The jet speed of Ahmed musa on the left is causing problems for Liberia and Nigeria win a second corner but Egwuekwe cannot get his head to the corner, goal kick to Liberia
7’ – Victor Moses again comes close for Nigeria, he shoots from inside the box, but it misses target fractionally
8’ – Goal kick to Eagles after another Liberia attack breaks down
9’ – Nigeria are so far in control of this game and they are one goal to the good as well
10’ – Victor Moses fouled by Liberia skipper, free kick to Nigeria
11’ – Liberia come forward, but they are caught off side, free kick to Nigeria
12’ – The ball overuns Ahmed Musa, throwin to Liberia
13’ – Corner to Liberia after a misunderstanding between Enyeama and Obiora Nwankwo
14’ – It’s a humid waether in Calabar and the full house at the UJ Esuene Stadium will have to endure this
14’ – Victor Moses of Nigeria is picked off side
15’ – Emenike brought down by the LIberia skipper in a good position for Nigeria
16’ – Ahmed Musa’s shot just misses target, it could have been the second goal for Nigeria
17’ – Sekou Oliseh is caught off side, free kick taken by Enyeama
18’ – Solomon Wesseh (Liberia) is cautioned.
19’ – Ball back to Enyeama, who has hardly been troubled so far in this AFCON qualifier
21’ – Throwin to Liberia after a combo between Moses and Igiebor fails to jel
22’ – Sekou Oliseh stopped by Ambrose as Liberia attack yet again
23’ – Egwuekewe stops Oliseh, free kick to Nigeria
24’ – Liberia are still attacking but the towering Egwuekwe heads a dangerous ball away to safety
25’ – The eagles are now passing the ball amomg themselves
25’ – But yet another quick by Junior Wilson and free kick to Liberia in a very good position for the Lone Star
26’ – Oboabona has been solid in the heart of the back four in place of the injured Joseph Yobo
27’ – Igiebor fouled, free kick by Victor Moses not good enough as Liberia regroup
28’ – Emenike on the turf injured as the game restarts
29’ – Igiebor fouls, freee kick Liberia
30’ – Half an hour played and dark clouds are gathering as it threatens to rain in Calabar
31’ – Heavy touch by Ambrose and Liberia attack yet again
33’ – Game is held up as Sekou Oliseh of Liberia is being attended to after a heavy tackle by a Nigeria defender
34’ – Sekou Oliseh comes close to drawing Liberia level with a grounder, but Enyeama tips it for a corner
35’ – Ahmed Musa (Nigeria) is cautioned.
– Ahmed Musa of Nigeria is booked for colliding with Liberia goalier Sherman
36’ – Still much of a disjointed display by the Eagles as the Liberian’s look a lot more fluid
37’ – Liberia are now enjoying more of the possession 57 percent to Nigeria’s 43 per cent

– This was just moments after the CSKA Moscow had scoiffed another glit-edged chance right inside the box
39’ – For the second goal, Ahmed Musa is first to a pass into the box delivered by Emenike. It’s now Nigeria 2, Liberia 0
40’ – The Eagles are now enjoying themselves as Liberia skipper fouls Mikel, it should have been a booking against the Lone Star skipper
41’ – Liberia attack is again sniuffed out and the game is held up for an injured Liberia player to be attended to by the medics
43’ – Foul against Victor Moses, free kick to Liberia right inside their box
44’ – A good spell of possession by the Lone Star
45’ – Azubuike is down on the turf but he gets up almost immediately as the game restarts
45 + 1’ – Liberia shoot at goal but it rolls into touch, goal kick to Nigeria
45 + 2’ – Free kick against Victor Moses inside the Liberia box, free kick to the visitors
45 + 3’ – Corner kick to Nigeria
45 + 3’ – HALF TIME The referee brings the first half to an end.
– Nigeria 2, Liberia 0 and at this point the Super Eagles are a foot into South Africa 2013…
45 + 4’ – Igiebor makes hash of a sitter right inside the six yard box after a blunder by Liberia
46’ – Liberia restart the second half, the visitors have seen a lot of the ball but it’s the home team who have been doing the scoring and had they been more clinical in front of goal, they would have been up by a lot more goals
47’ – Liberia attack but their final effort at goal let them down and at the other end of the pitch, Victor Moses also makes a harsh of his cross from the right flank
48’ – GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!! Victor Moses (Nigeria) scores!
– The Chelsea winger scores his first goal for the Eagles as Igiebor picks him out inside the box for him to slot home and the game is looking beyond the Lone Star now
49’ – Penalty against Liberia after Sherman brings down goalbound Igiebor
50’ – GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!! John Obi Mikel (Nigeria) scores!
– The Chelsea man sends Liberia goalie the wrong way to increase Nigeria’s lead
53’ – Eagles attack again but Elderson’s final effort screams into touch to the relief of the shattered Liberians
54’ – The rain is pouring and so are the goals now
55’ – Liberia Substitution: Boakai Foday replaces Solomon Wesseh
56’ – Uche comes close to getting a fifth for Nigeria but his final touch is too heavy and the Liberia goalie gathers easily
58’ – Game is held up as Victor Moses is down on the turf injured
59’ – Oboabona clears out of danger, he has been solid in the heart of the defence
60’ – An hour gone but Nigeria are pressing for more goals in this game even though they have so far rattled in four unanswered goals
61’ – Besides the goals, Nigeria are now enjoying more of the ball and another attack releases Victor Moses but he fails to connect home inside the six-yard box, it should have been Nigeria’s fifth goal…
63’ – Some juggling lessons from Victor Moses now to the delight of the fans, it shows how dominant the Eagles have been
65’ – Uche is fouled in his own half, free kick to Nigeria
66’ – Corner now to Liberia as the ball is giving away by Ambrose
67’ – Liberia look throughly beaten and it is now left for the eagles to run up the scores
69’ – Patrick Wley wins a corner for Liberia but from that decision, Mikel is fouled and free kick to Nigeria in their own half
70’ – Ahmed Musa slips as he dashes for goal, a big relief to the Liberians
70’ – RED CARD Liberia skipper Gebro Duncan gets a second booking and he is sent off
– Liberia are now playing  man short and losing 4-0 also
71’ – Solo run  by Victor Moses but his final shot again misses the mark
72’ – GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!! Ike Uche scores a fifth goal for Nigeria
– The Spain-based striker crashed his shot against the post and into the Liberia goal
74’ – It’s now Nigeria 5, Liberia 0. Nigeria are now in cruise control
74’ – Ahmed Musa ought to have scored a sixth goal but somehow his shot from inside the  box is deflected for a corner
75’ – The Lone Star are wrecked! And there is still 15 more minutes left of action…possibly more misery for the visitors from Monrovia
76’ – Efe Ambrose denies Liberia a goal as he back tracks to give away a corner
77’ – Nigeria Substitution: Ideye Brown replaces Nosa Igiebor
77’ – Foul against Victor Moses around his own box, but Liberia still cannot find their way past the Nigeria defence
78’ – Ideye is denied point blank by Liberia goalie Sherman, that must have been from about four yards out!!!
79’ – Off side against Nigeria’s Ike Uche
80’ – Ambitious shot from distance by Ahmed Musa but easily held by Sherman
80’ – GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!! Patrick Wleh (Liberia) scores!
– It was a determined effort by the tall striker, who gets to the ball before his Nigeria marker to toe it past Enyeama
82’ – Nigeria Substitution: Ogenyi Onazi replaces Obiora Nwankwo
– Lazio youngster Onazi is wining his first cap for the Eagles after featuring for both the U17s and U20s in the last three years
83’ – Liberia come close to getting a second goal, but they comit an infringement and it’s free kick to Nigeria
84’ – Liberia goale punches clear a cross from the right  by the lively Victor Moses
85’ – Five minutes tio the final whistle, Liberia are truly beaten
87’ – Onazi misses from inside the box, that was almost unpardonable
88’ –GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Victor Moses (Nigeria) scores!
– He just heads home a cross from the left by Mikel, a goal made from Chelsea
89’ – Goal kick to Nigeria as another Liberia attack breaks down
90’ – Liberia goalie Sherman robs Onazi the ball outside his box, good work by the Liberia shot stopper
90 + 1’ – There will be three minutes of additional time as Eagles are now playing ‘pass-ball’
90 + 1’ – Elderson wins a throwin for Nigeria inside the Liberia half of the pitch
90 + 2’ – Another Liberia attack breaks down and the eagles build another attack from the back
90 + 3’ – The referee blows the whistle for Full Time.
– Nigeria qualify for 2013 AFCON in South Africa after thumping Liberia 6-1 to go through 8-3 on aggregate
